Adding a website creates a workspace for that domain — Scan, Knowledge, Assistant, Installation, Conversations and Leads all live under that site.
Use the canonical public URL (https, www or non-www) that real visitors type. Staging hosts need their own website connection.
Add the site
- Sign in and open Websites
- Choose Add website (or continue onboarding for your first site)
- Enter a clear display name and the full public URL including https://
- Save and open the new website Overview
- Complete any ownership or install checklist items still marked pending
Finish setup
- Run Scan website content and wait for completion
- Open Knowledge and publish pages that should drive answers
- Copy the install snippet from Installation and publish it on the live domain
- Use Recheck installation, then Preview agent with real questions
Common blockers
- Domain typo or http-only URL when the site redirects to https
- Trying to connect an admin-only or login-walled host instead of the public site
- Expecting one production connection to cover staging — add staging separately
