Amevia ties each workspace website to one public domain. Installing the widget on that domain shows you can publish code there — which is how ownership is confirmed.
You can scan and configure the agent before install, but verification stays pending until the live snippet is detected.
Confirm ownership
- Open the website in your workspace and finish basic scan and Assistant setup if prompted
- Go to Installation and copy the site-specific script tag
- Paste it before the closing </body> tag on the live site (or via your tag manager)
- Publish the change on the connected domain — not only on staging
- Return to Installation and run Recheck installation until detection passes
If recheck keeps failing
- View page source on the live URL and confirm the script appears once
- Purge CDN cache if HTML still looks old — see Cache issues
- Make sure you published on the exact domain listed under Websites
