Recheck is a server-side look at your public HTML — not a browser screenshot. Publish first, purge cache if your host uses one, then recheck.
Run recheck
- Publish the install snippet to the live connected domain
- Wait for CDN or hosting deploy to finish
- Open the website in Amevia and go to Installation
- Click Recheck installation and wait for the result
- If detection fails, open Fix a widget that is not appearing and follow the ordered checklist
When recheck lies
- Geo-blocked or bot-challenged pages may fail fetches — test from a public URL
- Recheck looks at the connected domain root pattern — ensure the script is on the pages visitors use
- Try again after cache purge if you just added the tag minutes ago
