Removing a website disconnects Amevia from that domain — scans, Knowledge, the widget check and workspace navigation for that site. Do this when you decommission a property or move agents to another account.
Remove safely
- Remove the Amevia script from the live site (theme, GTM or CMS snippet)
- Publish the site so visitors no longer load the widget
- Export or review Conversations and Leads first if you need records
- Open Websites, select the site, and use the remove or disconnect action shown in the workspace
- Confirm the domain no longer appears in your website list
Before you delete
- Removing a site frees a website slot on plans with low site counts
- Indexed page usage drops only after knowledge for that site is gone
- Reconnecting later requires add, scan and install from scratch
